A very interesting story of a Punjabi Muslim family who stayed back in Hoshiarpur. At one point in the interview Mohammad Rafi feels compelled to show his separation from his family members who went to Pakistan and that his real brothers and sisters are now in India and he has no emotional connection with those who moved across the border. Interviewer Sanwal Dhami tries to assure him that there's no need to prove his patriotism and that he has as much right to live in India as anyone else, and that both Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs were swept up in the wave of violence, and at the end we are still Punjabis belonging to the same culture.
